Debug Menu: Prototype 2
It is worth noting that the desire for a debug menu in Prototype 2 was inherited from the first Prototype game. The original Prototype required a hex editor to modify the prototypeenginef.dll file. Users had to find the hex value 52 41 44 5F 46 49 4E 41 4C and replace it to unlock the hidden Developer Menu in the main menu. For the sequel, the process moved away from hex editing and toward scripting, making it much easier for the average user to install and customize.
