Place a drain pan under the engine. Look for the 17mm bolt located squarely on the bottom of the engine case. Warning: Do not accidentally remove the angled 14mm bolt, which houses the timing chain tensioner spring.

Slide the cylinder block off the piston. Immediately stuff a clean rag into the crankcase opening around the connecting rod to prevent parts from falling inside.
