Nippyspaces [better] Online

Despite its utility, Nippyspace has faced significant challenges regarding the content hosted on its servers. In , the UK communications regulator Ofcom launched a formal investigation into the provider of Nippyspace.

As of 2026, NippySpaces exists in a legal grey zone. It is technically operational for users outside the UK or those utilizing VPNs, but it has been effectively "cut off" from one of the world's largest digital economies. For businesses and individual users, the fall of NippySpaces serves as a cautionary tale:

The investigation into the provider of Nippyspace was closed on October 13, 2025, according to official Ofcom records. Risks and Safety nippyspaces

: Waiting for a takedown notice is no longer legally sufficient; risk frameworks must be pre-engineered.

According to the official Ofcom Investigation Closing Report , just days after the platform operators were informed about the investigation, the service went entirely dark. The platform became universally unavailable in the UK and most global regions. Because the service effectively ceased operations, Ofcom formally dropped its enforcement action in October 2025, while maintaining a watchful eye should the domains attempt a reboot. Furthermore, security communities like Malwarebytes Forums routinely blacklisted the domains due to malicious payloads embedded in files uploaded by bad actors. As we move toward WebAssembly (WASM) and edge computing, NippySpaces will become the default, not the exception. We are already seeing glimpses:

Whether NippySpaces will re-emerge, pivot to a more compliant model, or fade into obscurity remains to be seen. About LEAP

LEAP is my personal collection of electronics projects - usually involving an Arduino or other microprocessor in one way or another. Some are full-blown projects, while many are trivial breadboard experiments, intended to learn and explore something interesting.

Projects are often inspired by things found wild on the net, or ideas from the many great electronics podcasts and YouTube channels. Feel free to borrow liberally, and if you spot any issues do let me know or send a pull-request.

NOTE: For a while I included various scale modelling projects here too, but I've now split them off into a new repository: check out LittleModelArt if you are looking for these projects.
