JetBrains announced a price adjustment effective October 1, 2025, reflecting global economic pressures. For individual developers, the first-year subscription for IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate increased from €169 to €199 (plus VAT) for annual payment, or from €16.90 to €19.90 monthly.
With the release of version 2025.3, that has all changed. JetBrains merged both editions into a single, unified product.
